1. Quality

One very simple way to improve your diet is to buy better quality food.

Many of us have to watch how much we spend, but if you look at how much you’re spending on junk food and sugary items, that money could be better used elsewhere.

So, for example, if you like meat, buy less of it but choose better quality, organic meat.

2. Reduce Processed Foods

Of all the ways to improve your diet, the most basic one is to cut down on the amount of processed food you consume.

Chances are that a good proportion of your diet (perhaps more than you realise) is made up of processed foods, which contain a lot of additives, fats, and sugars.

Clearly these aren’t healthy, so start cutting down on these foods.

3. Regular Meals

This is a bad move, as it makes you more likely to reach for unhealthy mid-morning snacks.

In fact, missing any meal is not good for you, so make sure you eat regularly.

This will keep your energy levels up, and stop you from filling up with chocolate bars and similar snacks.

4. Increase Fruits and Vegetables

Another of the best ways to improve your diet is to increase the amount of fruit and vegetables you consume.

This is actually pretty easy;

make a fruit salad, add fruit to your breakfast, or whizz up smoothies.2

Chop up vegetables and add them to sauces, juice them, or eat salads.

This will mean you get lots of vitamins, minerals and fiber.
