Are you looking for some natural remedies for menstrual cramps.

Every month, here comes that nagging, dragging pain of which all women can attest to. Not only is it painful, but it can be very disgusting to deal with. It’s messy and gross all at the same time. I know many of women wish that they could dispel this culprit with a blink of an eye, but unfortunately it is a way of life. It can be a blessing, yet a curse. It switches up when it wants to and it can abruptly let you know “Hello I am here." Either way, I know it could just leave and it won’t be missed. A woman’s body goes through so many changes that a man can’t even fathom. Here are 5 natural remedies for menstrual cramps.

1

A Hot or Warm Bath

This always seems to ease and soothe that pain that strikes a woman’s tummy. Yes, ladies there’s nothing like a good warm bath that time of the month. The longer you sit in it, the more relief you will have. Heck, you may even fall asleep in the tub because it is so relaxing. So, take a load off and Calgon yourself away along with the pain. This is one of my favorite natural remedies for menstrual cramps.

2

Drink Tea

Yep, tea is definitely the trick. It’s something about that warming sensation entering your stomach. It’s like a personal massage for the pain. Any kind of tea will do and all tea tastes great, once you add a little lemon and honey. No matter the time you decide to drink it, before the cramps or after, it will solve your problem indefinitely.

3

Massage with Your Hands

Lay flat and massage your lower abdomen with your finger tips. A circular motion or a tapping motion will do too. Make sure you are delicate, but firm. This will give you temporary, but immediate relief. It feels good, but would feel even better if someone else did it for you. Also, put on some relaxing music when you do this to help take your mind off the discomfort.

4

Lay Face down on a Pillow

Roll up a pillow and put in on your lower abdomen. Applying pressure compresses those cramps. This is temporary relief as well, but it works for the time being. Better temporary relief than no relief, right?

5

Use a Heating Pad

That good old heating pad. You know the one your grandmother had way back when? Yes, that one. Watch the setting though. Heating pads can heat up really really fast and it gets really really hot and you will feel like your are in a sauna. Place it on your lower abdomen. It feels so, so good.

So ladies, fret not. You are bound to feel better in no time with one of these tricks.
