Your shoes do not have to be expensive! I go to a local thrift store and buy 2 to 3 at a time, it being like Macy's to me. You can often find gently worn to like brand-new.
2. Take a Siesta
Even 20 minutes can give you a little rejuvenation.
3. Drink, Drink, Drink
Whether water (flavored, sparkling, seltzer or fruit-infused), tea (hot or iced), smoothies, or 2 glasses of wine.
4. Activity
Get in at least 10 minutes a day.
5. Triphala
An Ayurvedic capsule to avoid constipation and keep regular. This tones the gastrointestinal tract.
6. Talking
Preserves memory. Tell that to the people who tell you that you talk too much!
7. Cranberry Juice
Stops urinary tract infections.
8. No Fast Food
Cook your own healthy meals.
9. Go Outdoors
Get some of our friend the sun whenever you can.
10. Do Something for You
Raise those feel good hormones in a healthy way.
11. Don't Be Negative
Do something good for someone else. Doing so has proven to make you feel better.
12. Sleep
Can't sleep? Listen to subliminal music on YouTube.
13. Portions
Buy portion plates! This is the easiest way to pay attention to servings.
14. Mini-meals
Don't starve yourself! Good for keeping your blood sugar level. No roller coaster rides.
15. Olive Oil
Extra virgin olive oil is the best fat ever, lowering your risk of heart attack and stroke.
16. Food Journaling
Do this if you want to see where adjustments need to be made, especially if you are attempting to lose weight. A good website for this is sparkpeople.com.
These are something to strive for and keep you on track. Do them every day and see the improvement in no time!
