1. Aim to Be More Positive
The most important tip of how to stress less is positive thinking. Positive people are happy people. Banish those negative thoughts and pessimism and opt for more positive thinking. Wake up every morning and tell yourself, "Today is going to be a good day." A change in attitude is the perfect way to start living more positively and can set the tone for the rest of your day. Another thing you can do to be more positive is to accept the things you can’t change and have no control over. The more you accept that things won’t always go your way, the less you let little things get to you. Don’t sweat the small stuff, girl!
2. Be More Spontaneous
Some of us tend to stress more than necessary because we do so much over thinking and meticulous planning. One way to stress less is to get out of your comfort zone and be a little spontaneous! I’m not suggesting you go bungee jumping or hang-gliding tomorrow, but something as simple as taking up a new yoga class at your local gym or learning to cook a new dish. Life can become somewhat mundane, but a little spontaneity can go a long way and help boost your mood.

3. Make More Time for the Things You Enjoy
Do you have a favorite movie or hobby that makes you really happy? It’s easy to get caught up in our daily routine of things we have to do, but it’s important to make time for ourselves. Set aside some time to do something that makes you happy. Whether it’s catching up on a good book, watching your favorite television series, indulging in your favorite meal or dessert or spending time on a hobby of yours, find time for it, even if it’s only for a few minutes.
4. Prayer
Some people find a great deal of relief and relaxation through prayer and other spiritual practices. When you’re able to steal a few moments to yourself, take the time to become more in touch with your spiritual side and I’m sure you’ll feel less overwhelmed and stressed in a matter of minutes. There’s no right or wrong way, so don’t get caught up on specifics, just simply do what feels right for you. Prayer is likely to put both your mind and body at ease and reduce your stress in no time!
5. Sex
No, it’s not just some silly myth! Having sex has several benefits, both in and outside of the bedroom and it’s true it works in reducing stress as well. Ever heard of oxytocin? It’s our body’s natural "feel good hormone" and intimacy (as well as other things) helps release this hormone into our body, making us feel happy and pleasant. Try this method out for yourself sometime and see if you find it helpful. It’s like killing two birds with one stone really!
