What's your go-to comfort food?

1. California Gurls: Katy Perry

I love this song. In fact, it's one of my top work out songs of all time. Anytime I hear it I just want to dance. The thought of daisy dukes and bikinis on top will be exactly the motivation I need to push harder this spring and get ready for summer.

2. Summer Love: Justin Timberlake

What’s not to like about this song? It’s got a nice beat, warm lyrics, and Justin Timberlake. It’s got everything we ever needed to be a top work out song. Add it to your spring playlist and you'll soon be dancing the pounds right off your bod.

3. Walking on Sunshine: Katrina & the Waves

This song may be from a couple of decades ago, but it’s a classic. It’s another upbeat and fun song to get you excited about warmer weather and sunshine. It’s perfect for a rainy day when you are stuck inside running on a treadmill. It’s even better on a clear day when you can take your run outside and feel the sun shining on your face.

4. Steal My Sunshine: Len

If you are looking for a fun spring workout song to get started, try this one. It also has a good beat at a brisk tempo, but not too fast. It’s fun, it’s catchy, and it’s all about sunshine and spring.

5. Blister in the Sun: Violent Femmes

No matter my mood, "Blister in the Sun" can always make me smile. I don’t know what it is about this song. It also makes me want to pep up my step and strut my stuff. That’s why I added to my list of top work out songs for spring.

6. Walking on the Sun: Smash Mouth

Are you starting to see a pattern? It’s another song about the sun. Honestly, if you are looking for a good spring work out mix, it’s got to be about warm sunny moments and good times. I like "Walking on the Sun" because it’s a little faster pace, but not pushing as hard as you can go.

7. Super Bass: Nicki Minaji

Maybe this song isn’t so much related to spring, but it has all the makings of a top work out song. The beat and tempo make it ideal for the climax of your workout. It’s really going to push you to run faster and try harder. It also slows down at parts to work out you in intervals.

8. Sexy and I Know It: LMFAO

What workout playlist would be complete without this latest hit? "Sexy and I Know It" is all about working out and being sexy. Let it inspire you to get moving so you can wiggle-wiggle at the beach this spring and summer.

Choosing a workout playlist is always fun. There are so many songs to choose from. It really comes down to what motivates you the most, because you definitely have to be motivated when you're working out. What are some top work out songs you will add to your spring playlist?

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

Vibrations by jade louise and savage is my new workout song :)

Boogie Shoes by KC and the Sunshine Band is a great 80's song to work out to.

I prefer alternative rock. Something loud and/or angry gets me wanting to kick my workouts ass. My workout playlist has Seether, Disturbed, Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, Evanescence and more along those lines.

My current fab song to workout to is This little girl by Cary Groves. "This little girl is capable of murder if you hurt her!!"

There's something about Dubstep that's ridiculously motivational. It just puts me in a trance and I can go on and on. DJ Datsik makes some good songs as does a group called Zeds Dead. If Dubstep isn't your thing, Rihanna's newest album has some good upbeat tracks.

Give Me Everything by Pitbull and Neyo is good too!
