1

Get Busy

The key to feeling more energized is to get busy and get moving! Try and fit some type of exercise into your day. Even if its just walking, at least you will be moving! Jogging is a great way to burn calories and stay fit, but if it's not for you, get a gym membership and try out biking, or some other exercise.

2

Check out Your Iron Levels

If you need to know how to feel more energized, start with checking out your iron levels. Many times, having low iron levels can cause a decrease in your energy levels. Some foods that have iron in them are fish, chicken, eggs, and beans. Or you could take an iron supplement!

3

Try Aromatherapy

One of my favorite ways to feel more energized is to use aromatherapy! Peppermint and Jasmine essential oils are very energizing. Some different ways to use them include adding a few drops to your bath water, adding a few drops into a bowl of warm water and leave it in the room with you, or scenting a hanky and periodically taking a whiff throughout the day.

4

Eat More Carbohydrates

Complex carbohydrates are what your body needs in order to stay energized all day long. If you want to know how to feel more energized, then try eating complex carbs throughout the day. Granola bars, bagels, whole wheat bread and pastas all have complex carbs. Your body will slowly break down these foods to help you feel energized all day long!

5

Drink Enough Water

Dehydration is one of the top causes of fatigue. If you are looking for ways to be more energized, then start drinking more water! Cut back on sodas, coffee, tea and other sugary drinks. You'll notice a huge difference, not only in your energy levels, but also in your over-all performance. Aim for at least 2-3 glasses per day.

Silence at the proper season is wisdom, and better than any speech.

6

Avoid Sugar

If you constantly feel drained and tired, try cutting out sugar from your diet. Sodas, candy, cookies, processed foods and chocolate will do nothing to give your energy a boost. Your blood sugar will spike temporarily, but it will quickly turn to insulin as your body breaks it down. The end result will be that you feel even more tired and sleepy than you were in the first place!

7

Figure out the Problem

If you live a fairly healthy lifestyle and have tried everything mentioned here with still no results, the problem may be something a bit more complex. Talk to your doctor and see if he can tell you how to feel more energized. Fatigue is a symptom of other underlying issues, such as thyroid problems or depression, among others.

With tips like this, you will be feeling more energized in no time at all! Just remember to always work on staying at a healthy weight, and of course, get at least 8 hours of sleep each night! That's the main key to feeling more energized! Do any of our readers have some great ways to feel more energized? Please comment below and share!
