1. Sleep

If there is one piece of advice our moms were right about it’s the importance of a good night’s sleep. The stress of life can really take its toll, and sleep is the only way to allow your body time to naturally rejuvenate. From our outward appearance to our to overall mental health, being well rested is essential to maintaining a productive lifestyle. Despite that little voice in your head that may hint otherwise, the truth is that you do enough. So give yourself a well-deserved break by pulling out that eye mask and letting your body refuel. This is one of the easiest ways to have a healthier lifestyle.

2. Find Inspiration

Feeling great is about far more than simply keeping yourself physically fit. In fact, taking time to feed your soul and nourish your spirit is essential to living a fulfilled life. Whether it’s finding quite time to read, taking a yoga class to clear your head or going on a hike with your best friend, exploring passions and activities that make you feel good are a great way to stay connected with yourself. Your emotions are a powerful part of who you are, and giving yourself time to reflect on how you are feeling about the things that you have and want is a helpful way to stay healthy overall.

3. Eat Right

We've all heard the saying "you are what you eat," but let’s face it, we’re all human. Sometimes indulging is going to happen, and that’s okay! Where is the joy in life, if we can’t enjoy it? The key here is to make healthy choices a habit so that when you have a craving for something caramel filled or chocolate covered, you can indulge- in moderation of course!

Aside from the infallible bend and snap tutorial, if there is one thing we can take away from Elle Woods' time at Harvard it is her ingenious commentary on physical fitness. Simply stated, "Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy," and while we may not be talking in the context of a murder trial, there is something to be said for the wise words of that ambitious blonde. Physical activity is an essential component to living healthy, it makes us look better and even more importantly than that it makes us feel better.

What you choose to wear while working out can have a significant impact on your comfort and performance. One essential item is the sports bra. Lack of proper support can lead to discomfort and muscle tissue damage. Choosing a good sports bra can help prevent these problems and ensure a great workout!

5. Spend Time with People You Care about

This one shouldn’t be too difficult; in fact it’s probably the most fun of all: enjoy yourself with the people you love. Whether it’s spending quality time with your kids, having drinks with friends or celebrating date night with your significant other unwind with people who make living worthwhile. They say laughing is a natural cure so let the good times and great company revitalize you spirits along with your health.

6. Avoid Unnecessary Stress

Sometimes the demands of life can make us feel as if there is just not enough time in the day. While we have all been there it is crucial to remember that maintaining balance is necessary. The moment you find yourself overwhelmed by the requirements of life is the same time in which you should give yourself a chance to step back and evaluate what stresses you can eliminate from the scenario. Some things are worthy of your concern. However, others will remain out of your control no matter how hard you try to worry your way through them. Only you can decide where to focus your energy, but remembering that life is short and meant to be enjoyed may help you to keep a healthy balance when juggling stress.

7. Drink Water

There is no quicker way to revamp your health than by adding a couple glasses of water to your daily routine. While it may sound simple, drinking water is the best way to replenish your body from the inside out. Aside from improving the health of your kidneys and digestive system, water is the most cost effective product for keeping your skin looking young and healthy. When it comes to water, what’s not to love?
