1. Sensible with Shoes
If you don´t want back problems, then you need to be sensible when it comes to shoes. That doesn´t mean that you always have to wear sensible shoes. No, you can wear heels if you love them, but wearing heels affects your posture. So it´s smart to limit how long you wear them for, and how often.
2. Lift Smart
Have you ever heard the expression ´Bend at the knees, not at the waist´? No, that´s not a sexual position! It´s advice on how to lift something heavy without hurting yourself. If you lean forward to pick something up, it causes more strain on your back. The best way is to bend your knees to crouch down, pick up the item and then slowly straighten up.
3. Good Seating
Do you spend a lot of time sitting down for work? Make sure that your chair is comfortable and provides sufficient support. Likewise, if you spend a lot of time using your computer at home, it´s worth investing in a decent office chair so that your back has adequate support, and so that you don´t develop back problems in the future.
4. Posture
Have a look at your posture in a mirror. Do you stand up straight? Chances are that you don´t, and that when you sit down you are slumped in your chair (yes, I do it as well). You don´t have to take deportment classes or walk around with a book on your head, but do pay attention to how you stand, and try to straighten up.
What you choose to wear while working out can have a significant impact on your comfort and performance. One essential item is the sports bra. Lack of proper support can lead to discomfort and muscle tissue damage. Choosing a good sports bra can help prevent these problems and ensure a great workout!
5. Quality Mattress
Do you know how old your mattress is? Have you any idea when it was even bought? (if it´s provided with a rented apartment, you don´t know how old it is or how many people have slept on it)Think about how much time we spend asleep – sleeping on a mattress that is poor quality or too old won´t do your back any good.

6. Sensible Weight
If you´re carrying around too many extra pounds, getting rid of them could be very beneficial to your back. Being overweight can cause backache, so getting down to a sensible weight will help keep your back (and the rest of you) healthy.
7. Supportive Bra
Women with ample chests know only too well how having big boobs can cause you back problems. The best way to deal with this is to ensure that you are wearing the correct size bra, and to choose styles that give you enough support. It might mean spending more, but that would surely be worth it to avoid back problems.
It´s very easy to develop back problems, so we need to do what we can to avoid injury and strain. This can involve retraining ourselves to stop bad habits like slouching, but it will pay off in the end. Back problems can really make you feel wretched, so it´s worth looking after your back. What have you done to deal with back problems?
