1. Fights Infections

One of the many benefits of grapefruit essential oil is its ability to fight infections. Grapefruit oil has antimicrobial and antiviral properties, making it a great oil for treating the common cold. If you have a therapeutic grade essential oil, you can put two drops in a glass of water and drink it when you are feeling sick. My mom has done this for years and has kept many colds away!

2. Antidepressant

When you are feeling depressed or down, using grapefruit oil is a wonderful way to boost your mood. In general, citrus oils have an uplifting effect on mood. The bright citrusy scent will instantly make you feel cheerier. When it comes to grapefruit oil, it is not only the scent that lifts your mood. The oil has an ability to stimulate hormones that boost mood. Next time you are feeling down, rub a little grapefruit essential oil on your wrists for an instant boost.

3. Banishes Cellulite

Cellulite is something that is very difficult to get rid of. However, grapefruit oil can help get rid of cellulite by eliminating toxins that are stored in fat cells. This allows your body to burn the fat that causes cellulite more effectively. To use grapefruit oil for getting rid of cellulite, you just need to massage some into the problem area with a little coconut oil.

4. Banishes Dandruff

Dandruff is an annoying and embarrassing problem that can be caused by an oily scalp or an overgrowth of fungus. Thankfully, both of these causes can easily be treated with grapefruit oil because it controls oil production and kills fungus. Just mix a drop of oil with your shampoo and massage it into your scalp. Let it sit for several minutes before you rinse, which will allow the grapefruit oil to work.

What you choose to wear while working out can have a significant impact on your comfort and performance. One essential item is the sports bra. Lack of proper support can lead to discomfort and muscle tissue damage. Choosing a good sports bra can help prevent these problems and ensure a great workout!

5. All-Purpose Cleaner

One of the benefits of having some grapefruit oil on hand is that you can use it to make an all-purpose cleaner. Grapefruit oil is a great oil for cleaning because it kills bacteria and viruses. 6. Produce Cleaner

Not only can grapefruit oil be used as an all-purpose cleaner, it can also be used to clean produce. Just put 20 drops in a spray bottle with 1 tablespoon of baking soda, 1 cup of white vinegar, and 1 cup of water. Spray this mixture onto your produce and allow it to sit for five minutes. This will kill any pathogens that are on the produce, and it will remove pesticide residue.

7. Air Freshener

Because grapefruit oil does smell so wonderful, you can use it as an air freshener. You just have to put 20 drops of grapefruit oil into a neutral oil. Then, put the oil mixture into a glass jar with reed diffusers. Your home-made diffuser will freshen the air, and every time you walk into a room your mood will instantly be lifted.
