By Valencia

Whether you're in college or high school, going to class can trigger burnout. 1. Go for a Hike

Head outside if it's a beautiful day. Getting some fresh air can clear your mind and help you unwind, which prepares you for the next day of class. Sometimes, we only need a change of scenery to feel better. Plus, hiking and other types of physical activity can boost your mood. Activity increases our brains production of endorphins.

2. Take a Long, Hot Bath

If you're dealing with a headache or stress, sitting in a hot bath can help you unwind and feel better. You can add drops of an oil to your bath water, such as lavender. Light a couple of candles, put on some soothing music and you'll melt away your stresses. This is perfect if you have a long night of studying ahead of you.

3. Get a Massage

It doesn't have to be a long massage, and you don't have to pay for it. Some salons have 20-minute and 30-minute massages that are cheap and just enough to alleviate stress. Or if you have a partner, ask this person to massage your shoulders, neck or back to release tension.

4. Lie down and Take a Quick Nap

Naps aren't only for young children. After a hard, stressful day, you need a mental break. And sometimes, lying down for 30 minutes to an hour can recharge your mind and body. If you're in college and between classes, taking a quick power nap in your car can also prepare your mind for the rest of the day.

What you choose to wear while working out can have a significant impact on your comfort and performance. One essential item is the sports bra. Lack of proper support can lead to discomfort and muscle tissue damage. Choosing a good sports bra can help prevent these problems and ensure a great workout!

5. Make Time for a Hobby

School can consume your every waking moment, and if you're always thinking about classes, homework and study sessions, you're going to burnout. It's important to have an outlet, such as a fun hobby. This can be anything from sports to crafts. Discover your interest and find hobbies you'll enjoy doing.

6. Sit in a Quiet Room Alone

After a stressful, hectic day, sometimes you need time alone. Find a quiet place and meditate or daydream for a few minutes. This can reduce your stress level and help you regroup. Go into your room and close the door, sit in your car for a little bit, or take a quiet walk in the park.

7. Learn How to Say 'no'

Undoubtedly, you have a lot on your plate. And unfortunately, if you allow friends and relatives to infringe on your personal time, you might never get a break. It's okay to offer assistance, but you need to know your limitations. You might have to turn down invitations, and you might have to say no if someone asks for your help.

Being a good student requires time and effort. But sometimes, classwork can take over where it feels like you're going in circles. Learn different strategies to relax and clear your mind and you can avoid burnout after a long day of classes.
