1. Get a Pap Smear
It does not matter if you are sexually active or not, you need to get a pap smear once a year. This is your first line of defense against a wide range of health problems, including a couple of different types of cancers.
2. Get a Physical
In addition to getting a pap smear, you should also get regular checkups even when you are feeling good. Routine physicals are a great way to make sure that you are not developing any health problems that will need to be treated.

3. Get Your Teeth Cleaned
Another thing you cannot forget is your oral health. You need to see the dentist at least twice a year for regular checkups. The cleanings do not cost much and they can prevent some serious, and costly, problems from developing later in your life.
4. Get Your Eating Habits under Control
It is easy to get busy and grab a burger at the local fast food restaurant. This is something that will come back to haunt you later in life. Instead of grabbing that burger, make an effort to eat right. Keep healthy snacks like fruit and nuts in your purse at all times.
5. Get Moving
Make an effort to get some exercise. It does not matter if you look good right now; your overall health will improve if you start working out. Plus, it is a lot easier to create a habit of working out each day now, than it will be later when your energy levels start to wan.

6. Get Hydrated
Soda pops and energy drinks are easy to drink, especially when you feel like you could use a little more energy; however they are no substitute for water. Drinking plenty of water does more than keep you hydrated, it will also clear up your complexion, reduce urinary infections, and decrease the chances of you developing kidney stones.
7. Get to Bed
When you do not get enough sleep, it is difficult to focus. The less sleep you get, the more accident prone you will be. Sleep also helps your body fight off illnesses so get plenty of it!
8. Get Your Immunizations
Make sure you get your tetanus shot. This is something that does not cost much and can be done during your regular checkup. If you cannot remember when you last tetanus shot was, get it done again. No one wants to develop tetanus.
9. Get Some Relaxation
Learn to relax. Taking a couple of courses in basic meditation is always a good idea. If you learn how to take a step back and calm yourself you will be able to approach things with a fresh perspective
10. Get Ready to Celebrate
No matter how busy you are, you need to take a few minutes each day to simply revel in the fact that you are alive. It does not matter if this comes in the form of cocktails with the girls, a round of miniature golf with the love of your life, a cuddle with your pet cat while you watch a comedy or a quick bootie dance when you go out and get the mail. You need to learn how to laugh and to remember that life is no fun if you can’t enjoy it.
Your twenties are some of the best days of your life. Savor each moment and make sure you take the proper steps to stay healthy in the future. What is the best thing about being a woman in her twenties?
