As a traditional and ancient system of natural medicine, it’s hard to dispute that there are many benefits of homeopathy. I have always tried to embrace a more natural lifestyle and one of the benefits of homeopathy is that it only uses remedies from natural sources, mainly derived from plants and minerals. It's given me peace of mind to know that all remedies are thoroughly rendered to create nontoxic medicines in the form of tablets, creams, sprays and gels. Through this in-depth process, powerful healing remedies are created. All rendered homeopathic treatments are safe for animals, children, adults, as well as elderly patients – a very comforting notion!

No Medical Interference

With the range of medications prescribed today, it's not easy to understand what may interfere with what you are currently taking. Because homeopathy uses natural sources in its remedies, there's no interference with common medications, meaning that you can add this form of treatment to your current lifestyle without changing a thing!

Good for Mother Nature

I try to live an eco-friendly lifestyle as much as possible and I've always held a deep care for the environment. Relating back to the law of minimum dosages that homeopathy is founded upon, once a remedy has worked you are encouraged to stop taking it; therefore, the harvesting of natural resources can remain low, as there is less of the treatment required. The resources that also go into harvesting is reduced, which translates into a more sustainable environmental practice.

FiRst Aid Treatment

If you encounter a need for some first aid treatment, why not try something natural? The largest group of homeopathic remedies is derived from plants such as the mountain daisy and marigold. These key ingredients claim to heal skin injuries and speed up the recovery process for bruises, sprains or strains. Instead of popping back a wad of medications and slathering your body in common first aid treatments, why not try a natural homeopathic remedy instead?

Gentle Healer for Children

If you have children, I'm sure that their medical treatment is of utmost concern. Because homeopathy is non-invasive and safe for children, many parents find a sense of peace using this form of treatment. Various remedies can be used for certain ailments such as colic, teething, and earaches, as well as common coughs and colds. For more serious medical concerns, parents are always advised to see their child’s healthcare practitioner for the best treatment option, of course.

Silence at the proper season is wisdom, and better than any speech.

Emotional Support

Stress is almost a second language for me; therefore, knowing how to cope with the side effects of stress is one area where I have conducted substantial personal research. Commonly use to combat nervousness, depression, bereavement, insomnia, moodiness, headaches and more, the use of a homeopathic remedy called Ignatia is a great alternative to modern medicine. Originating from a small tree native to The Philippines, Ignatia is a great natural choice for coping with some of life’s challenges. Look it up and see the wealth of benefits that this remedy can provide!

Long-standing Illness

While not all long-standing illness can be treated with homeopathic remedies, there are many ailments that it can help with. Concerns such as chronic sinusitis have been successfully treated through homeopathy. Many patients using this form of healing have experienced remarkable benefits in both their physical and mental health. Coming from a family with a history of sinus infections and chronic allergies, knowing that this form of treatment can help has been extremely reassuring! If you are struggling with particular long-standing illnesses that can be treated using homeopathic remedies, you may want to give it a shot.

Many mainstream medications boast a long list of potential side effects and can leave lasting health implications. Instead of reaching for that convenient bottle of pills, you might want to do some research on the benefits of homeopathy – it may be able to help you overcome something you are struggle with! As always, make sure you consult with a healthcare practitioner before undertaking any self-medicating! Have you ever used homeopathy to treat your symptoms?

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

#2 is false. You should always take natural supplements a few hours before or after your prescribed medication. Natural supplements can change the absorption capabilities of the liver and could make your medication more potent to your body. Always ask your doctor before adding anything to your health regimen.

#2 is not entirely true. St. John's Wort can affect birth control.

Give me a break! Anyone who took Chemistry 101 knows homeopathy is TOTAL b.s. It's not "ancient" --- it was invented by a snake oil salesman just over a century ago. At best you are wasting your money, at worst you are putting your life at risk by not getting proper treatment!

I took homeopathic medications when I was 16 and again when I was 33. I have had success with them. They worked on both occasions for me and I was dealing with serious issues on both occasions. It's ideal for people who don't like the thought of putting harmful meds into their system and for those that are uber-sensitive to conventional meds. Some people's body chemistry requires a more natural, safer course of treatment. That's when homeopathic remedies should be chosen. I liked your article Ali! Plus we have the same spelling of our name. Lol.

#2 is not entirely true, no, but there are many components of it which are true. Which is why you always need to talk to your physician before, as the article says!
