1. Drink Water

We all know It's important to drink water throughout the day, regardless of whether you have been on a night out or not. Alcohol dehydrates you so be sure to drink plenty of water the next day. This will help flush out the toxins and make you feel a little more human. This is one of the top things to do after a big night out.

2. Vitamins and Minerals

The body loses vital vitamins and minerals through drinking but there are a few ways to replenish those lost nutrients. Fruit is great and there are certain fruits that will help heal your body the day after a big night out. For example, kiwis and bananas will boost the potassium levels that have been depleted through drinking.

3. Breakfast

It's important to have a good breakfast after a big night out. Be sure to opt for a healthy and hearty breakfast with sustained energy release. Wholegrain toast and a poached egg is a great option. Oatmeal will also give you energy slowly and replace those lost nutrients.

4. Rest

Getting rest is very important, especially if you have had a super late night. Also, the day after a big night out is the time to soak those poor feet. After all, you have been up all night dancing in those fabulous, if not a little uncomfortable, shoes. The day after a big night, all you will want to do is soak those feet and snuggle up on the sofa with your favorite box set or movie.

What you choose to wear while working out can have a significant impact on your comfort and performance. One essential item is the sports bra. Lack of proper support can lead to discomfort and muscle tissue damage. Choosing a good sports bra can help prevent these problems and ensure a great workout!

5. Replenish Salts

If you have been drinking, you will need to replenish the salts and minerals that have been lost through alcohol consumption. Have a rehydration sachet the day after a big night out and you will start to feel much more human again in no time.

6. Share Stories

One of the fun things about the morning after is sharing the stories of the previous night's events. Also, one of the important things to do the day after a big night out is to check out the pictures of the night before. This is where the truth of the night before becomes apparent and you can all laugh at those silly things you got up to.

7. Party Preparation

Ok, so this is more about what to do before you go out rather than what to do the day after. There are some important things you can do to minimize the damage and the headaches. For example, be sure to eat before you go out and if you're drinking when you're out, alternate your alcoholic beverages with soft drinks or water as this will help dehydration. These are good tips! But not so sure that drinking lighter coloured drinks will reduce a hangover!! Hangovers from vodka aren't the best! Haha

Also, take some ibuprofen (Advil or Motrin) it'll offset the inflammation going on in your body and help you recover MUCH faster!! I know from experience! And I'm also a nurse :)
