1. Wine Can Help Your Memory Stay in Good Shape

Have a glass of wine regularly and never forget anything again! Yes – wine improves memory. Research shows that those who drink a glass of wine daily are more likely to remember things than those who drink no wine at all. Wine prevents inflammation, blood vessel blockages, and blood clots, which in turn prevents cognitive decline and heart disease.

2. A Glass of Wine Can Help You Sleep Better

To improve your sleep quality, a glass of wine, red wine in particular, will do the trick. It is mainly due to the presence of melatonin in red wine, specifically Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chianti. This chemical plays a big role in regulating your body clock and helps your body ease into sleep. Oh and, melatonin will also slow down the aging process.

3. The Antioxidants in Wine Boost Your Immune System

Wine plays a nice role in boosting your immune system and strengthening your body's defenses. This in turn protects you from infections. In fact, you may end up lowering the risk of getting a bacterial infection by 11% if you have a glass of wine daily – this is especially true in case of Helicobacter pylori, nasty little bacteria which are the main cause of gastritis, stomach ulcers, and stomach cancer.

4. The Alcohol in Wine Burns Calories

Alcohol is known to be caloric and is often classed as being empty calories BUT when you finish your glass of wine, the alcohol in it starts burning calories and the process continues for 90 minutes or so. If you exercise regularly, this will improve your chances of maintaining an ideal body weight.

What you choose to wear while working out can have a significant impact on your comfort and performance. One essential item is the sports bra. Lack of proper support can lead to discomfort and muscle tissue damage. Choosing a good sports bra can help prevent these problems and ensure a great workout!

5. A Great Reason to Drink Wine is That It Strengthens Your Bones

It is found that women who drink wine in moderation generally have a higher bone mass than those who do not drink wine. We naturally lose bone mass as we age, so drink wine to improve estrogen levels, which in turn strengthen your bones.

If you drink a glass of wine daily, this will help prevent certain types of cancer. A French study also showed that a wine antioxidant called resveratrol reduces the chances of developing liver cancer.

9. There Are Goodies in Wine That Don’t like Bacteria That Can Cause Food Poisoning

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

As many benefits as wine has, I think it's not healthy to drink alcohol every day. A few glasses a week are more than okay.

What wine would you recommend for someone who's trying it for the first time? I've tried Merlot and dislike it..

@ AK...moscato... If you like sweet... But be careful for sweet drinks...

You can get most of the benefits from drinking grape juice actually

Jeez, too bad for those of us who don't drink......

I had recently stopped having wine but after this article need to restart the same 😀

Agree with happy girl. Then again I drink 0 alcohol

I enjoy red wine, particularly Pinot Noir. However, I'm fine with 1 glass per week.
