1. Supplements and Vitamins

If you want to get rid of that horrid pain in a safe way, you have to take of your body first! Making sure that your iron levels, A, B, C, D and E vitamins, thiamine, and calcium etc. are in check is a great way to help reduce menstrual related pain. Try taking a multivitamin! The more consistent you are with taking the pills, the more likely it will make a drastic change in your pain relief. It’s definitely one of my best natural remedies for menstrual pain out there.

2. Exercise

I admit, I don’t always want to run to gym to get my workout on during my period. I feel too tired or groggy. But, surprisingly, exercising can relieve those symptoms and the endorphins will make you feel tons better. Exercising gets the blood in your body circulating and helps reduce cramping! So break a sweat and get rid of that pain, ladies!

4. Sex

I know it doesn’t sound appealing, but it could do wonders for the pain you’re feeling! When you orgasm it releases oxytocin, which is what causes uterine contractions. Those contractions help to relieve pain! So, if you’re up to it, go for a romp in the bedroom!

If your diet consists of junk food, carbs and sweets, you may want to consider other alternatives. Your diet is a way of maintaining your body and feeding it the nutrients it needs to function properly. If you eat nutrient-dense, organic, whole, foods, you have a better chance of having less painful cramps. It can even give you a lighter flow and lessen PMS symptoms. i don't know about the sex being a remedy because what IF your partner accidentally releases it inside?? then you're pregnant? so i don't think sex is a good idea

My cramps are so horrible and nothing relieves them. I've tried everything and only a heating pad does any bit of good. :(

Exercise may work for some people, but it does nothing but make my cramps WORSE tenfold. If I have minor cramps to start and then go for a jog, I'm out for the count for the rest of the day!

Bananas Bananas Bananas!!! Bananas are AMAZING for cramps and mood swings!

Chocolate!!!!!!

Thanks for the tips.....but sex?!

Drinking hot water also helps greatly

I have a feeling this will come in handy this month!!

You should put that maca also makes women fertile so they don't have an uh oh
