1. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera If you have ever had a bad sun burn, you know that Aloe Vera is one of the greatest plant remedies. Yes, there are many people who don’t know that Aloe Vera is actually a plant! If you cut it open, you can feel its gel-like texture. Its cooling properties relieve any cuts, rashes, burns, or insect bites. You can even use it as a moisturizer! I use it sometimes on my face to keep my skin feeling tight, cool, and smooth.

2. Feverfew

Feverfew If you get severe headaches like I do after a hard day of work, try this plant. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, Feverfew has formerly been used to cure fever, and is now used to treat and prevent migraines. Goodbye, headaches!

3. Passion Flower

Passion Flower When under a lot of pressure, I can get very anxious. While looking for something that can calm me down, I discovered the Passion Flower. The Memorial Sloan- Kettering Cancer Center website says that the Passion Flower’s calming and sedative properties are used to treat anxiety and insomnia.

4. Motherwort

Motherwort As the name suggests, Motherwort is a plant that helps mothers! According to Jennifer Brett, N.D. on the Discovery Fit and Health website, Motherwort is used to treat conditions related to childbirth. Containing a chemical called leonurine, Motherwort fosters uterine contractions. It has also been used to regulate the menstrual cycle for years!

What you choose to wear while working out can have a significant impact on your comfort and performance. One essential item is the sports bra. Lack of proper support can lead to discomfort and muscle tissue damage. Choosing a good sports bra can help prevent these problems and ensure a great workout!

5. Mint

Mint Mint has so many health benefits! In addition to great breath, Mint can help with a sore throat and congested nose. It is also a great facial cleanser as it leaves your skin feeling cool and tingly. Mint is also known to help with indigestion, nausea, and cramping. So when you have an upset stomach or a cramp, try drinking Mint Tea.

6. Lavender

Lavender When you have trouble falling asleep, and counting sheep just doesn’t seem to work anymore, Lavender can be a huge help! The soothing scent can put your body in a state of relaxation, helping you fall asleep. It also helps relieve tension after a long day. Light a lavender scented candle or take a bubble bath with some lavender soap crystals. You’ll love it!

7. Witch Hazel

Witch Hazel I know the name sounds funny, but this plant actually has many benefits! It cures many skin conditions such as acne, wrinkles, minor cuts, bruises, and eczema. It’s great for your pores, and can remove excess oil and tighten your skin. It can also tighten and lessen the pain of varicose veins.
