1. Set a Sleep Schedule
If you want to wake up energized every morning, make sure that you're on a schedule. Your body can adapt to just about anything, and it loves schedules. It doesn't have to be incredibly rigorous like it was when you were a kid, but try to make sure you're giving yourself between 6-8 hours of sleep every night and get up at the same time every morning. Pretty soon, your body will be your alarm clock!
2. Eat Early
Many sources, like FitSugar, encourages you to not only eat breakfast, but to eat it as early as you can. If you eat as soon as you can after waking up in the morning, then you'll be waking up energized in no time! When you give your body that kind of energy in the morning, your metabolism gets a real kick start, and that will help you all throughout the day. However, make sure that you get plenty of healthy proteins rather than rich, greasy breakfasts full of bad carbohydrates.

3. Stretch It out
Stretching each morning can also increase your energy. As long as you give your muscles a good stretch, you're good to go. Stretch your arms, your legs, your back, your neck, and so on, even if you just do traditional stretches. You should also think about incorporating some easy, efficient yoga stretches into your morning routine. There are many you can do while you're getting ready for work, so you won't even have to take time out of your day.
4. Sleep in Comfort
The best way to wake up energized is to sleep comfortably, and there are several ways you can do that. You have to make sure your mattress is comfortable, so even if you can't afford a new one, make some modifications to your current one if you need it to be firmer or softer. Make sure you have comfortable bedding as well - nothing too stifling and heavy, nothing too lightweight; find the right balance for you. And make sure you sleep in something comfortable too, whether it's lingerie, a night gown, flannel PJs, or your birthday suit!
5. Listen to Music
If you want to figure out how to wake up energized, just think about the things that get your mojo workin'. If you start listening to music every morning, especially if you listen to the songs that make you want to move and dance, you'll discover a brand new spring in your step. It's an even better idea to actually wake up to music, by making your alarm clock go off to the radio or to a CD. That's certainly way better than waking up to an incessantly buzzing alarm, don't you think?

6. Forget Your Snooze Button
You may think your snooze button is your best friend, but when it comes to waking up energized, it's actually your worst energy. You can actually make yourself more tired by hitting the snooze button over and over. After all, 5-9 minutes isn't long enough to fall deeply asleep. You just get on the cusp of a deep sleep and then the alarm goes off again. You'll end up feeling more sluggish, so try hopping right up to greet the day!
7. Get Cleaned up
Another way to make sure you have more energy when you get up is to jump right into a cleansing routine. Taking a shower first thing in the morning is great, but it's not always practical. As an alternative, start bathing your face in cool water to really wake up your skin - and yourself! Use a citrus facial wash as well - a little lemon, orange, or grapefruit is really invigorating!
When you wake up energized, you?re not rushing around, feeling sluggish, getting frustrated, and lamenting the fact that you have no time to start or finish anything. It hate that, it makes me feel so out of control. So I?m going to change things, starting with these tips and techniques! What do you do to wake up with more energy?
