1. Whole Grains

Whole grains are high in fiber. They help reduce the risk of diabetes and heart disease. And heart disease is deadly, but preventable.

2. Fat Free Dairy Products

Fat-free dairy is the best way to provide your body with the levels of calcium and vitamin D recommended for good health. Calcium keeps the bones strong and prevents bone degenerating diseases, such as osteoporosis.

3. Fish

Omega-3 Fatty acids are extremely important to our health. Omega-3s promote good cholesterol, diminish triglycerides and encourage lower blood pressure. Our body does not produce Omega-3s so it must be consumed. Fish (especially salmon) is a rich source of the Omega-3s; there are many supplements available for those who don’t like to eat fish.

4. Nuts

Nuts may be loaded with calories (especially almonds and walnuts) but the benefits from eating nuts outnumber the negatives. Eating nuts helps reduce the risk of coronary artery disease.

What you choose to wear while working out can have a significant impact on your comfort and performance. One essential item is the sports bra. Lack of proper support can lead to discomfort and muscle tissue damage. Choosing a good sports bra can help prevent these problems and ensure a great workout!

5. Antioxidants

Berries are loaded with compounds called “antioxidants”... and these compounds are effective in lowering the risk of cancer. They help your body dispose of aging chemicals called "free radicals," too.

Green tea, is nearly as popular as coffee for a morning boost. Green tea contains flavenoids that are reputed to reduce the risk of cancer. Flavenoids function to inhibit the enzyme that is necessary for cancer cells to multiply. Most health care professionals recommend green tea as part of a daily diet plan.

10. Tomatoes

Tomatoes are very good for your overall health. Cooked tomatoes contain more vitamins and beneficial lycopene than raw tomatoes. Cooking causes lycopene to be released in greater quantities.
