1. Take a B12 Supplement

B12 helps convert your food to glucose, which increases your energy levels. Talk to your doctor about this, which is one of the best natural ways to boost energy levels.

2. Drink More Water

Humans are made up of 60 percent water and it is necessary to carry out all of our metabolic functions. The more water you drink (aim for one ounce of water per pound of your body weight daily), the more quickly your body’s processes are carried out, which drastically reduces that sluggish feeling.

3. Exercise

It sounds counterintuitive, but the more you exercise the more feel-good endorphins that are released, which helps with consistent energy levels.

4. Eat More Iron-rich Foods

Dark leafy greens, lean protein, beans and dark chocolate all have high levels of iron. Iron is an important nutrient because it takes the form of hemoglobin in the blood and carries oxygen to your tissues. This leads to way more energy!

What you choose to wear while working out can have a significant impact on your comfort and performance. One essential item is the sports bra. Lack of proper support can lead to discomfort and muscle tissue damage. Choosing a good sports bra can help prevent these problems and ensure a great workout!

5. Avoid Added Sugar

You may feel tempted to reach for that donut or cookie when that 3 pm feeling sets in, but this will only help in the short term and will add a lot of excess calories. Instead, reach for a high-protein snack such as almonds or a hard-boiled egg that will leave you with more energy to finish out the day without that sugar crash.

6. Reduce Carb Consumption

While carbs are a necessary part of our diet and help with energy in small doses, overdoing it on the carbs can have the opposite effect.
