1. Green Tea and Peppermint Tea
This is one of the oldest traditions in the book and one of the best ways to get rid of stomach bloat. And there are plenty of reasons why. Teas, whether herbal, flavored or medicated, are naturally full of antioxidants the body uses to cleanse and recoup itself. Peppermint tea is derived from dried leaves of the peppermint plant, and alleviate excessive water and unnecessary bacteria from the intestines for healthy digestion. It is also used to help heartburn and upset stomach. Green tea has a similar effect, but has a more organic concept and is a well-known trick for weight loss. So drink up ladies! Try adding two cups a day to your diet for the best results.
2. Lemon, Alka Seltzer and Hot Water
Yes! I know it sounds terrible. But trust me. This formula WORKS. I had five women try this for three days straight, each after dinner and they each saw instant results. Any type of regular Alka Seltzer in a packet will work. This is a fast and easy trick you will be amazed by. So next time you are feeling heavy from that late pasta dinner at the steakhouse, try this little tip before bed. I promise you will not be disappointed! All you need is 1 slice of lemon, 2 cups of hot water and one packet of regular Alka Seltzer.

3. Elevate Your Legs
We all assume the best way of getting rid of that stubborn water weight is by what we put in our bodies right? Well, here's to a little variety! Now, of course, those I've previously mentioned are also suitable, but also try elevating your legs on a pillow, a chair, anything. How does this work, you ask? Well, it helps to tighten and relieve tension in the abdomen. You can do this while watching TV, reading or whatever. Do this with both legs side by side for 15 to 20 minutes every night. Watch for RESULTS!
4. Laxatives
Now many may frown at this one, but honestly, a light laxative is harmless. Yes. I've personally tried it! Don't get anything too harsh on the tummy. Kroger and Giant Eagle Brands are good if you are experiencing excessive bloating and need a quick fix. Pop a couple of these! Hey, it's not the most glamorous, but you will get the resolution you came for!
5. WATER, WATER, WATER
Yes, its cliché we know! But hey, it’s been a constant. As a natural purifier, the more water you drink the less chance you have of bacteria, salts, and sugars to remain in your tummy, all of which contribute to stomach bloating. And no you cannot gain weight from drinking water. The more the better! Flush it all out! Now obviously don't go overboard, but it’s not rocket science to know how good water is for virtually EVERYTHING. No further explanation needed!
Lastly, for all of you who may have needed some pointers, I hope this helps your cause! After all, the summer is right around the corner! It may just come in handy.
